If you want to see the beautiful natural sorroundings and you are especially interested in the medivial history of Hungary, come with us to the Danube Bend! Our first stop will be in Esztergom, which is the catholic seat of Hungary. We wouléd like to show you the largest cathedral in the country. We can enjoy the nice view of Slovakia on the riverbank. We will continue our way to Visegrád where I want you to visit the ruins of the medivial castle and have the picturesque view of Danube Bend.

Szentendre is a former Serb town with an interesting Mediterranean atmosphere (>> Szentendre tour). This is a town of painters and sculptors with lots of exhibitions, othodox churches, cafes and restaurants. It is worth visiting the museum of Margit Kovács who was a world-famous Hungarian ceramic artist. You have a good chance to go shopping here and if you think so, you can go back to Budapest in the afternoon by boat between April and October.
